Ēostre
(Proto-Germanic: *Austrō(n)) is a West Germanic spring goddess. The name is reflected in Old English*Ēastre ([ˈæːɑstre]Northumbrian dialectĒastroMercian and West Saxon dialects: Ēostre [ˈeːostre]),[1][2][3] Old High German: *Ôstara, and Old Saxon: *Āsteron.[4][5] By way of the Germanic month bearing her name (Northumbrian: Ēosturmōnaþ, West Saxon: Ēastermōnaþ; Old High German: Ôstarmânoth), she is the namesake of the festival of Easter in some languages. The Old English deity Ēostre is attested solely by Bede in his 8th-century work The Reckoning of Time, where Bede states that during Ēosturmōnaþ (the equivalent of April), pagan Anglo-Saxons had held feasts in Ēostre's honour, but that this tradition had died out by his time, replaced by the Christian Paschal month, a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus.
Theories connecting Ēostre with records of Germanic Easter customs, including hares and eggs, have been proposed. Whether or not the goddess was an invention of Bede has been a debate among some scholars, particularly prior to the discovery of the matronae Austriahenae and further developments in Indo-European studies. Ēostre and Ostara are sometimes referenced in modern popular culture and are venerated in some forms of Germanic neopaganism.

What is the pagan festival of Eostre?

Eostre represented spring and new beginnings. The celebration of spring is present in many ancient customs, across all cultures, and it seems that Wicca has borrowed from many of them for Ostara. Like many other spring celebrations in other cultures, Ostara symbolizes fertility, rebirth, and renewal.Mar 18, 2019
Good Friday is a Christian holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary. It is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum. It is also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, Great and Holy Friday, and Black Friday. Wikipedia

Is king Charles a Pagan?

guardian.com

Since the 1970s, Charles has promoted environmental awareness. At the age of 21, he delivered his first speech on environmental issues

A Green Man illustration appeared on the invitation for the coronation for King Charles III and Queen Camilla, designed by heraldic artist and manuscript illuminator Andrew Jamieson. The official royal website explains this inclusion: "Central to the design is the motif of the Green Man, an ancient figure from British folklore, symbolic of spring and rebirth, to celebrate the new reign. The shape of the Green Man, crowned in natural foliage, is formed of leaves of oak, ivy and hawthorn, and the emblematic flowers of the United Kingdom." Wikipedia
